Vixen's Hot Chili was created in the chilly mountains of Vermont, during the cold winter of 2008, when last minute, I entered the annual chili cook-off at work.
Truth be told, I was not of fan of chili, especially vegan chili. The ones that I tried were either too beany, bland, or boring. They just didn't have that zing. You got to have that zing folks!
Always loving a good challenge, I put on my apron and worked through the night, cooking up the secret recipe. Much to my surprise, I ended up winning the contest, not only once, but 4 YEARS in a row!
It took me 14 years to bring it to store shelves, but Vixen's Hot Chili is definitely worth waiting for!
